Cracking fiberglass

Just took our F312BHX Wildcat Maxx out this weekend camping. When we arrived I noticed what initially looked like extra adhesive near the roof. So I climbed up onto the roof and discovered that it's a crack. I bought it from a Camping World in Northern Cal.(which I'm about to call) just before Thanksgiving last year so it's still under warranty. How I can make sure the repair is correctly done? Thanks.

Wow!!!. That looks like it may need to go back to the factory for a complete sidewall replacement.

Not good. Get that covered with whatever you can get your hands on to prevent water intrusion.

Yup yup, I'm on it. One of the directors where I bought it is supposed to be contacting Forest River to get the process rolling for repairs too.

I have a 2014 Wildcat 327ck that after a year both sides cracked and started to bulge out. The short story, the dealer worked with Wildcat and brought it back to the factory in Elkart to replace both sides. They did good to fix it and get it back to me in great shape. Good luck!

Fiberglass does not tear for no reason without an external force applied. This tear suggest the internal structure is flexing further suggesting a structural flaw.

We had a like issue on both sides of our Wildcat 353LS. Wildcat picked up our Wildcat took it back to Elkhart replaced both side and delivered it back to our driveway.
Oh, it was out of the warranty time frame when they did this for us.

As a side note, start making a list of every little problem or repair that needs to be addressed. Attach this list to the front of your frige and the warranty folks will take care of it for you while it is there.

They are amazing at customer support.
