My Shasta Phoenix 5er is a 33CK, which is a 36 foot Center Kitchen.

For me to contribute, I usually need to leave the forum, and Google the model# before I even know if it's a Class A, B, C, TT, 5th, or ??. It would make it so much easier to help the "thread owner" if they included a 3-4 word description of the RV they are seeking info/help on.
I simply bring this up, not to be critical, but I believe there will be even more assistance given when we know immediately what type of RV we"re dealing with!
I agree with you 100%

Many letters and numbers mean nothing.............

By the way what does QLB stand for I have no idea

I think you get the picture. Some brands add other letters unique to their brand. It will come to you if you pay attention

If I'm on a 5th wheel forum I kinda figure we are talking about a 5th wheel. As in the case of a Wildcat, there are no wildcat TT's.

27rk = 27' rear kitchen

As for 3 digit #'s I can only assume
275 = 27' 6" ? 379 = 37' 9"?

The hard part I find is understanding the length. Are they overall lengths end to end or are they living space lengths.
that i need websit or NADA to answer.
From what I have seen, the model number is usually the square footage of the "box".
The total length is an additional 3 to 4 feet.

Keepit states "From what I have seen, the model number is usually the square footage of the "box".

If my number 28RKX was the square footage of my trailer, it would measure 4'X7'.
sooooo-- maybe not!

Our motorhome is a Lexington 265DS, standing for 26.5ft, double sides, class B+.

It was described by Forest River with a total length of 27 ft.

In my opinion, 265 stands as a nominal length (likely a 2X4 lumber measure 1 1/2 X 3 1/2).

One thing for sure, our 265 is 1ft longer than the 255 of the preceeding year version of the similar floorplan layout. The gain shows on the table width, the bed size on driver's side and the counter width on the passenger's side.

Trailers and 5th wheels are measured in length, not Sq feet.
