SS is often super slide

QB is usually quad bunk.

My sabre is 34REQS. Not sure of the 34 as it us actually 40' long. The REQS is rear entertainment, quad slide.

Rets = rear entertainment triple slide

BH= bunk house

REBH= rear entertainment bunk house

MB is mid bunk

FL - front living

RL - rear living

RK - rear kitchen
FK- front kitchen

OK- outside kitchen
RKOK- rear kitchen, outside kitchen
BHOK- bunk house, outside kitchen.

You get the idea. Once you learn the abbreviations, it gets easier.

The OP's suggestion is a great one....I rarely know what the poster has when they use the model, I just skip that post because I'm tired of looking up unit numbers. I have a Wildwood Heritage Glen 282RK TT. We apparently all know RK means rear kitchen, but what does 282 mean? If you guessed its 28 feet long, you'd be wrong, because it is 35 feet long. Just tell everyone what you would save everyone from trying to figure out what unit you have! Just sayin!

I think you get the picture. Some brands add other letters unique to their brand. It will come to you if you pay attention

If I'm on a 5th wheel forum I kinda figure we are talking about a 5th wheel. As in the case of a Wildcat, there are no wildcat TT's.

27rk = 27' rear kitchen

As for 3 digit #'s I can only assume
275 = 27' 6" ? 379 = 37' 9"?

The hard part I find is understanding the length. Are they overall lengths end to end or are they living space lengths.
that i need websit or NADA to answer.
The number may not mean length at all and most times does not. I own a 31IK.. The IK stands for Island Kitchen but it is 36'11" long, not 31'

I just put everything I can possibly add on to my truck and trailer in the sig. I keep adding until the moderator tells me its over limit, then unfortunately I have to resort to abbrieviations. Just wish there were more room to add the wife, kids and 8 grandkids. Oh yea, and the dogs. :-)

The other place to put longer descriptions is in the "About Me" section of your Profile. Clicking on a Users Name, and then "View Public Profile", will take you to their profile, and if the "About Me" section is completed, it can give you a lot of details.

This is all assuming most people actually read the OP. So many people give well-intentioned advise that really has nothing to do with what was actually posted even when people give details about what their problem is or what they are looking for.

For me to contribute, I usually need to leave the forum, and Google the model# before I even know if it's a Class A, B, C, TT, 5th, or ??. It would make it so much easier to help the "thread owner" if they included a 3-4 word description of the RV they are seeking info/help on.
I simply bring this up, not to be critical, but I believe there will be even more assistance given when we know immediately what type of RV we"re dealing with!
You shouldn't have to leave the forum. At the top of your browser (Explorer and Chrome, anyway) there should be another "tab" you can open and google from there. Then just click back to the first tab when you've found out what you wanted to know.

Could be I guess. 8' wide 28.2' long. Except that it's a 32' fifth wheel. Maybe 8' wide, 282 square ft of floor space? Hadn't thought about that. Open Range RV used floor space in model numbers. I'll do a little measuring next time I'm sure in by rain storm. 😋

It does have rear living.
DS? Maybe dinette slide.
36 ft trailer. There doesn't seem to be 4ft of real estate sticking out front for propane, battery and tongue jack. And I give up on trying to get Tapatalk to show my truck and trailer as a signature.
And,...many times I see someone post "see my signature for" whatever and there is nothing there. But I use only Tapatalk. So maybe it's Tapatalk that's the problem.
