I went back and double checked. It looks like all Signature Ultra Lights start with 8. Probably just a model designation.

Thanks to everyone that took the time to read and post replies to this thread. As I read through the replies, I see a lot of "I think", "maybe it means", "hard to keep straight", "must mean", and so forth. Seems a lot of folks feel the same as I do and it appears there really is no magic formula that always works for the RV number/letter scheme. Maybe if we all encourage others on this great forum to provide a bit more info when describing their RV's, we can make it even better and useful for all.

X2 on what doc73 said: "The standard of the numbering is there is no standards." This subject has been debated in several other threads, and I think doc hit the nail on the head. If you really want to know what someone has, you need to google it and hopefully find one with pics online. At least that's what I do. On my Mini Lite 2503S, I know what the "3" means. It is "floorplan #3" on the "25 foot" chassis (as there is also a "2," "4," and "5" in the same box and chassis). But why they're calling it a "25" instead of either a "22" or a "26" (or even "27) is beyond me. And why 2503 and not 253? Did they really think they'd make more than 9 floorplans?

I suspect FR marketing has a full time Numerologist on staff. That keeps them from using Model Numbers with bad juju...

DS? Maybe dinette slide.
36 ft trailer. There doesn't seem to be 4ft of real estate sticking out front for propane, battery and tongue jack. And I give up on trying to get Tapatalk to show my truck and trailer as a signature.
And,...many times I see someone post "see my signature for" whatever and there is nothing there. But I use only Tapatalk. So maybe it's Tapatalk that's the problem.
Tapatalk displays things differently. It doesn't show the normal forum signature. Some have figured out how to post a Sig seen in tapatalk but then it shows up as a double signature on the forums.
