Dometic Heater Issues

Hello folks
Just wondering if anybody has experienced the following heater issues;

Issue: when I turn it on I get heat from the bottom vents and cooler air from top vents.

Had this issue before and took it in for warranty work and it was corrected, before we left we checked the heater and it worked just like new.

Now 2 months later it's doing the same thing and of course it's out of warranty.

So before I take it in again and have to pay for the fix. Just wondering if anybody has experienced this issue and how it was resolved.

To be clear: Heat, but not much does come out of the bottom vents.

Cold air from the top vents, not air conditioned air.

So in essence it never heats up the 5th wheel.

Thank You for any suggestions.

Yours in RV Camping

If you have a Dometic digital thermostat, make sure it is on "auto" and not on low or high...furnace should work and top vent should be off.....

Are you sure it's not a Suburban furnace with a Dometic thermostat?

I have a PDF of the Dometic manual that explains the auto mode. PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.
