fireplace
we have a 2018 323MK with a FFP272107-H fireplace and no remote. have been having trouble finding one. Any ideas

Ours was in the pouch where all the manuals were stuffed into.

yea. we looked and no remote.. spoke to FR and they said they do not supply remotes
|

A while back I was able to program a Logitech harmony remote to work on the fireplace as well as everything else in the trailer.

How could they sell you a 2018 model and not help you get a missing remote?

Who you bought it from or who made the fireplace?
A 1 second Google search of the model number you posted says it's made by Dimplex, a Sylvane Co.

per Forest River, they do not provide the remote. I did find Dimplex when i searched

My BS meter is going crazy. A remote came with our Wildcat 5th fire place as well as one for previous Rockwood 5th. FR does include a remote as I am almost 100% positive FR gets a remote from the fireplace vendor.
Do a little searching for an FR Wildcat rep (Dan Evans)?? and you should get a remote.
Another thought. Any chance it came loose in the unit and is under the couch or something?

your meter may be right. but the FR rep we have been dealing with, Mike Rink, stated that they do not provide. We had a 2017 Wildcat and it had one.
FR has done so right by us up to this and the missing tv remote. So small items!!11

I understand the OP has talked to someone at FR... BUT WHY... the OP just bought this (states it's a 2018) so why would the dealer not be going to bat for the customer?
If they were worth at least 2¢, they would be doing ALL the leg work necessary to satisfy a customer who just dropped THOUSANDS of dollars with them.
Something doesn't add up????????

Right on! On the BS meter! Where was the remote during “walkthru inspection “? How hard is it to find your manufacturer and contact them? AND, I really dont see the dealer saying “they dont provide one” maybe they should check the “things left at the campsite forum! Lol

We have warranty replacement rv. Our fault at walkthru we did not check folder. Did not see reason to being as all was in first one. Just a pain thing. Still have nothing but good things to say on dealer and fr
