Fresh Water Overflow

On our previous TT (with an open underbelly), the fresh water tank had an overflow 'tube' that would allow water to run back out if you overfilled the fresh water tank. I used this overflow to let me know when the tank was completely full.

Our Wildcat 5th wheel with an enclosed underbelly doesn't appear to have this same feature...or if it does, the water must run out into the underbelly as I can't find where a hose extends outside the underbelly. So far, I've just stopped filling the tank shortly after the gauge goes from 2/3 to full so as not to overflow it, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if the fresh water tank has an overflow and if so where it might be located?

Thanks! Hadn't even given it a thought to look that far back. Guess I'll take a look back there.

I appreciate the information on an overflow for the fresh water tank. Mine is a different unit but I assume they are built similarly.

I have assumed that the fresh water vent, located next to the gravity fill was the vent. It worked that way on a previously owned slide-in pickup camper, where I'd fill the tank until the vent overflowed. Since it was in a small outside compartment with a cover, I didn't care if some leaked out when I started moving it. With the Wildcat, I've waited until I could hear the vent gurgle and stop filling. I didn't want any overflow in the basement. The tank level gauge measures full so that has worked well for me.

I'll check on this if I ever remove the bottom cover.

I looked all over on my Wildcat today and then came to the same conclusion...the overflow for the fresh water tank is the vent port right above the gravity fill opening in the control center. Guess it makes sense...just different than on our previous TT.

Thanks!
