If you have the means to fix it yourself, that's what I would do. Why take the gamble that the dealer will just cobble it together?

I agree it's a shame to have to do something like this on a brand new trailer, but $%#* happens.

I have a good dealer, this is the second trailer I bought from. They have a good shop and have seen this before...they promised they will make it Louisiana I-10 rated.

Plus, the underbelly has some type of pop rivet looking thing that you have to break off then go back with new screws. Too new for me to break the "warranty Seal"...if you will.

update:

Dealer had to slip the cross brace back over the frame, they had bounced out. He put screws on the cross braces to make sure they stay put.

Also, fixe a couple of other small items.

They had it less than a week....Happy

Best thing to do is install a piece of 2x2 angle under the tank and attach it to the trailers frame. A 3/8" bolt on the ends is all that's needed. It will never fall out again and the angle will keep the tank from bowing down in the middle when full.

My fresh water tank leaked on my 312BHX. They screwed the ground to the frame and it went through the Fresh water tank from the factory. Had to take it to the dealer twice to get the issue resolved.
