Fresh water tank filling up.

I have a 2016 Wildcat and when connected to city water over time the fresh water tank fills up. I assume there is a check value that is leaking, can anyone tell me where this valve is?

I have this issue too with my ‘16 Wildcat, although “over time” would be an exaggeration for me; more like “within an hour or two”! I’d rather use from the fresh tank and run the pump anyway since pressure is always weak when using city water connection. Speaking of, is there a PSI range or recommendation for the fresh water system on these newer Wildcats? I haven’t been able to find anything on it.

50/60 lbs. on any system. Never run over 60 lbs on a PLEX system.

Thanks cavie, I’ve been running 45-50, and using the pump when I shower. Otherwise it just dribbles out.

Had this problem twice. Disconnect city water then run off your pump. Then turn off pump and reconnect to city water. This usually flips the check valve in the water pump and your back in business without water tank filling up. One time after several tries this did not solve problem and I had to get a new water pump.

clean the screen with your hose connection. Unscrew the shower head and clean that screen. Remove the reducing washer while you're in there. Check the faucet aerators while you're at it.

Most water pumps in RV's are rebuildable.

Yep, did all that, didn’t help much. Tried my dad’s aftermarket shower head, it’s definitely better but still not nearly as good as with the pump.

I only use my pump to winterize. I guess I should exercise it once in a while.
