I have a 12' 3" tall 5th wheel " highest point".
I'm installing a high profile a/c on it.
Will come in about 13' 4"

I like my Columbus fine. Its just too heavy for a half ton truck, also a little longer than I need.
Your dimensions are for high profile bedroom units? A low profile shouldn't be more than 8 or 9"?

My Wildcat with low profile front A/C is 13ft 6in. You should measure when connected to truck and airbags set for usual travel psi.

camperboy, you say that your current Columbus is too heavy for a 1/2 ton truck, and the Wildcat is slightly heavier than the Columbus. Am I missing something?

I think he said Wildcat is slightly heavy for a half ton. Not heavier than a Columbus. Depending on the floor plan chosen, I agree with the half ton comment.

Yep you are right. I had to read it several times before it sank in.

2015 model year. For this year they went to a taller bedroom a/c. They said the low profile unit was too loud

If the Wildcat is 12'3" sitting level then how does adding a low profile a/c change your height by 15"? A low profile unit should be around 8 to 9" so you should be around 13' even.
Is your rig sitting nose high?
