I think I would talk to a lawer. Sometimes just a phone call is all it takes.

The problem is lawyer fees out weight the cost of the repair, and Lippert knows this. As an owner, it's a tough spot to be in though I consider it.

Yes but a class action lawsuit will work wonders for getting things done.

I just wanted to add to the list...we also just had a pin box failure. You can read about it and see our photos on my blog if you are interested.

Typical pinbox/frame mounting issue. The underlying frame structure is compromised and must be repaired by re-welding and strengthening with more steel. The bottom panel must come off for access. I saw a recent post here, or at rv.net or irv2.com; do a search on pin frame failure to read up on the fix. Lippert supposedly has someone traveling the country doing the repairs, but don't expect any warranty help unless they're being real generous.

All too familiar. Great blog by the way. I'm glad it all worked out for you and I think you got a great deal from the fabricator.
For me, after the repair I did, it now makes it even harder to even consider trading in for another. This one I know is right, now!
Happy travels.
