it's done....now the wait begins

Wife and I put pen to paper with a little money thrown in and now we wait 6-8 weeks for delivery of our new (first rv) Wildcat 282RKX.

After the Hershey show last Sept. we decided we wanted to tour the Wildcat factory. After making the arrangements we went to Elkhart in Oct. Had a wonderful morning touring the factory with James Borum their purchasing agent.

On the trip back to Ohio we new we wanted a Wildcat but didn't want to take delivery in mid winter. So we felt now was the right time to order for a late March/early April delivery.

We will definitely be at the FROG rally in August. Hopefully by then we will be doing somethings right.

Congratulation an the Wildcat and welcome to the forum. We have a 2012 282RKX and love it. Our floor plan is slightly different, we have only had a few minor issues, one the dealer took care of and I was able to do the rest.

Congrats! Good choice on waiting for the winter to be over. I hear those salt roads can really trash a new RV prematurely.

Welcome to RVing - I hope you have as much fun as we've been having the past 13 years. You'll have great times and meet great people along the road (and an occasional exception, but just ignore them and move on).

Congratulations on the new Wildcat. We had ours delivered in mid December, but with the weather we have yet to de-winterize it and do a shake down on it. Your waiting for deliver was a smart move for sure.
