Landing Gear Fuse

We took our 2013 Wildcat out for the first time this weekend. We blew a fuse on our landing gear on the way out. Two wires were not connected to the batter like they were supposed to according to the tech. I replaced the fuse and connected the cables to the battery and the landing gear came down. However, when I got back home yesterday the fuse was blown again. Has anyone else had this issue? I have to take it back to the dealer to have the TV mount motor fixed. I will have them take a look at the fuse issue. I am curious if this is something others have experienced and what was done to fix the issue with the fuse. Thanks for the reply.

We had a blast with the new camper. The extra space was wonderful. We had 5 adults, a five year old and 2 dogs in the camper Saturday night and still had room to spare.

I have a Rockwood more then likely the same landing gear. If you go past the the stop you will pop the fuse. Where that stop is I couldn't tell you so I always leave it down an inch and put a paint line on the leg. I have also replaced the 40 amp breaker with a auto reset type, that I got from the dealer. I got tired of standing on my head to reset it. I called my dealer and that is what he said that I should do. They sent me 2 40 amp auto breakers, ....

I will try that next time. That makes sense. I wish they would have told me that when I picked it up.
