Good idea on the contact cleaner. In my case the switch no longer "clicks" when I push it. I am going to Grainger today to get a replacement. It is a 45 minute drive from here. After I replace it, I will see if I can determine what broke inside the bad switch.

I had this problem and a new switch was not the answer. What I found out was the hydraulic motor pump was requiring more amps than the reset breaker could handle. The reset breaker for my unit came with a 50 amp resettable breaker. I put in a 100 amp resettable breaker and the front jacks work perfectly. Lippert is very difficult to get info out of.

landing gear switch

Just reverse wires on motor until you get new switch. Save a lot of cranking. Switch wire back when going opposite direction

The replacement switch from Granger is close, but not an exact match. I did find an exact match at an RV dealer near Denver. It is:
JR Products, part number 13865.
$16.49.

Speaking as a 45 year master electrician, remove that 100 amp breaker. You are gonna start a fire and possibly burn down your rig. The wire will burn long before the breaker will trip. Please remove the breaker and get you motor fixed!
