Level up system
Just making last minute decisions on ordering Wildcat 312QBX. Just wondering if anyone added the 6 point levelling system from the factory? Seems like a great idea, however, I am worried it may prove to be more hassle than it is worth from the reviews I have read.
Also haven't been able to confirm if the system would be electric or hydraulic for this model. I am assuming electric as the standard jacks are electric.
Option on factory order is $2500.00. Seems reasonable for a 6 point.

I have the system on a Blue Ridge. It is all hydraulic and replaces the electric jacks. As an secondary use, it drives the rams that operate our slides. In our limited ownership, it has worked great. Once you understand the manifold valves you can operate any slide in any direction.

I didn't know it was offered on the Wildcat. It's not listed as an option.

I have the six point leveling system & I think it was some of the best money spent on the extras. I have watch some guys spend an hour leveling their trailers with the wood planks and blocks. I can be unhooked and leveled up in a matter of a few minutes. I also have the hydraulic system. So far, I would highly recommend it.

Here is a good video with nuggets of info on how the system is designed to work:
With 60,000 pounds of lifting capacity, the system is slightly over built.

I looked into getting them on my Sandpiper I just ordered. Dealer talked me out of it just due to the weight it adds and the extra costs to them wasn't worth it

I keep thinking about having the level up system installed on Silverback but I can't find any video of the level up system leveling a trailer on a site that is way off level side to side and front to back.

I have the level up system but haven't had to use it on a badly un-level area yet. Takes some getting use too but it sure is nice.

I like the auto level system that we had on our motorhomes, but when we started looking at 5th wheel trailers I had decided to go the KISS Principal route.(keep it simple, stupid).
But, who knows maybe later if I stop reading about problems owners have experienced with this system I may add it someday in the future.
Had it been available on our Wildcat for only $2500 it may have been worth it as I have had quotes given of $3500 and up as an aftermarket.

Level up system
Thank you for all your responses. We ordered the Wildcat 312QBX and opted to leave out the levelling system. Having trailer delivered to Canadian border hopefully in early May.

I too have the level up system on my Sterling Wildcat and it works great after two seasons. I have probably set up 50 times so far. I was once on a hill side in Branson and it would not extend enough to level (5 degrees) but I would have the same problem using blocks. The site was not safe, so we left.
