Maiden voyage has been great

Well this weekend is our maiden voyage with the new 2016 295rsx.
Not a single issue to record. The dealer (Canopy Country RV) in Ellensburg, Wa. Really made this great . Even watching the Seahawks in HD over the air. (Hope they win)

Great! We just did our "shake down" weekend with our 2015 Crusader 322RES and had a great time also here in New Mexico. Darn it though, our Seahawks need a home game to get back to our winning ways. Happy trails!

We purchased our Wildcat MAXX 28RKX from Canopy too. It's the second MAXX we've owned and Canopy is the best dealership we've ever dealt with. Much of it is centered around their service dept, as Ron, the Service Dept manager, is absolutely the BEST! He will take care of you and you'll never be sorry you bought from Canopy! It appears to me that the MAXX factory in the Northwest produces trailers of a much higher quality than the Wildcat factory in the Mid-west! That's why, although we live in Iowa, we bought our MAXX in Washington St.

Maiden voyages can be enlightening! Done three in my lifetime so far, the worst one being when I got to the campground, no propane appliance worked. Turned out the regulator went bad. Luckily I was only 10 miles from home. Stayed the night anyway just for the sake of doing it and went home the next morning.

Speaking of propane regulators, had a regulator go bad on me on the road once too, it cracked presumably going over some rough road, now I carry a spare.

Good tip about the propane regulator, thanks. Well, a sad day here...time to winterize and put her to bed until spring. We aren't full-timing yet and need to spend the good weather remaining on house projects, like finishing up the painting before the snow flies. It was really tempting to take one last weekend trip to northern New Mexico but unfortunately we got an attack of responsible homeowner syndrome and are pulling out the sander and paint brushes. Our best to everyone out on the road!
