Friend had made one on his. Reflective Mylar. He took it off after a short period as the sun often reflected off it and bothered him.

You list a 2003 Ram in your profile, but that sure doesn't look like an '03 in the pic.

If you have a late model Ram you could have a backup camera added to the high light and it would integrate into the infotainment system. If you don't have a late enough model you can add a stand alone unit.

I'm using the mobile site so I cant view your profile to see how new your system is to you. As Kimber45 suggested, are you sure you cant see it through your rear window? I can see mine when my tonneau cover is removed.

With my tonneau cover folded up, I can no longer see it and thought I needed a mirror like you're looking for. After a dozen connections or so, and getting used to what the camper looks when its hooked up through the side mirrors I can now hook it up without much hassle. I need to climb out a few times to be 100% sure. So, i guess I'm suggesting that before you add anything, you may want to be sure you will really want it long term.

Regardless, if you find something that works, please let us know.

Back up assistance

I have a f150 with a goose neck hitch and a tri fold cover, I have to rely on my wife to guide me which usually ends up with minor arguments. Wal Mart has these yellow balls that are on telescopic rods with magnetic bases,i put one in the truck bed in front of the ball and the other one on the rv hitch and back up until they meet, no more arguments

I have a 2016 Ford F-250 6.7 Super crew that I tow my 2019 Wildcat Maxx 295 RSX fifth wheel with. I removed the rear seat center head rest. The two plastic tabs around the post holes on the top of the seat back ended up looking like the front sites on a firearm. Using my rear view mirror I line up the fifth wheel pin with those plastic tabs and usually hit the mark for hitching up. So far so good.

Same here with my Duramax, use the center car seat attachment, aligned with the center bar on the rearview and the pin, gets it close enough.

Bought these at Wally world. Put one just in front of the notch on my hitch, put a stripe of white tape on the pin box above the pin itself, line them up in my rear view mirror when backing. Click image for larger version
