Missing bolt(?) from stairs

Hi Everyone,

My Wildcat has an issue with dropping screws :\ First it was the sewer pipe hanger, now it's whatever's missing from the latch that holds the stairs in.

I've attached two photos, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me what's suppose to go there? I'm going to hold it in with a bungee for now, but I'd like to know what's supposed to be there.

Thanks in advance.

Something like a stud bolt would work.

Double-end bolt, stud bolt - SUYU (China Manufacturer) - Other Transportation Facilities - Transportation Facilities Products - DIYTrade

Cut off one threaded end, on the other thread a nut on put it in the hole add a locking nut then tighten each one while checking for clearance.

Lowes, Home Depot or Ace hardware should have them.
