Need help and info!!!!

Hey guys i have some questions about my fifth wheel. I bought from the states and had it delivered to the Canada/USA border so i didn't get the rundown on how everything works. Need help with some things.

1. How to read the monitoring panel for tanks that is on my model wildcat?? I push the test switch but dont know what the likes mean??
2. How the tank less hot water heater works??
3. Should i sanitize the fresh water tank?? If so how??
4. What should i do to test the water pump and make sure eveything works there good??
5. Is there away of sucking water from a pail by the pump on these campers??
Really any info would be great!!!! Thanks

I don't have a wildcat but from the likes of it, if I was to read this from the panel I would say where the lights come on at is how full or empty your tanks are. From the bottom picture this is how I would read it:

Fresh water tank - 2/3rds full
Holding tank - 1/3 full
Grey - Empty

Battery Fully charged

Is there a manufacture on the upper left part of the panel? This might help out since different units can have different panels.

Sorry if I'm giving the wrong information but that is what I take from it.

Good grief. Have you checked through all the documentation you got yet? It's probably in there, but may be hard to find.

These things are not complicated...why do they insist on making them so??

Next to your monitor panel is the switch labeled AUTO and LOW. That’s for your
tankless water heater. In the photo it looks like it is set to auto which is the standard setting. Basic operation for the water heater is to use the hot faucet ONLY, not the cold faucet to adjust the temperature of the water. Turn the hot faucet on full, if the water is too cool slow the flow rate and the water will get hotter. Remember that as you adjust the flow of the water you should wait for the water already in the lines to clear through before you adjust again.

Your monitor panel is completely different from those I had in my Wildcats. In the last picture you have a full battery charge, your fresh water tank is 2/3 full, your holding tank which is showing bath 2 is one 1/3 full, and the grey water is empty. If you flip the switch on the far right to “bath 1” it will show how much water is in that tank.
The red switch on the panel is the water pump.

Yes, I would sanitize the fresh water tank. I believe that since you have the tankless water heater you don’t have a built in water filter. Sanitizing is a good idea.

You should have separate owner’s manuals for all of your RV appliances and a generic owner’s manual from Forest River on maintaining the Wildcat. Look in all the cabinets, storage areas, and under the cushions on the dining chairs if you haven’t found them.

So the tanks have fluid in them just from them testing everything? Why would they have some much fluid in black tanks when the camper is new?

When you press the TEST, all it is doing is testing all the lights on the panel. If you can't find the operation of this in the paperwork, your other option would be to start filling them up...one at a time. I think. Maybe they put water in the tanks during PDI and didn't drain them prior to delivery?? Crazy!

I manage to locate my water pump. got some pics of it there. Where i am pointing to is that a place i can thread a hose on a use it as a suction? The other is of my manifold, so there are 2 waste holding valves that mean there are 2 tanks? Also there is a valve same as these at the back drivers side of the RV along the side of the frame. What would that be for back there??

Ok so i figured out the pump got it going need to be primed. Got water going to all taps good flow and hot water also. I sanitized the Fresh water tank it is all good. Dumped my Holding(black) tank it was just water in there so dealer must of had it in there for testing stuff. All is looking good i am slowly figuring out this RV LOL. The only thing i want to do is get a line plumbed so i can suck out of a pail from the pump. I got the pic up above in last post pointing to where i think i can put a hose on???

I think the suction is on the side opposite of where you are pointing. At least on my plump, the strainer is on the suction side.

Ok ya i will look tomorrow ran out of time today, but should be easy to findout which one is sucking. I was thinking just putting a Tee where i need and then a plug on the end of my suction hose i make. Then i can alway have it handy to suck out of a pail or for winterizing. Make life easy i think?? What you guys think of this idea?

That other valve at the back of the trailer is probably for the half bath that you have in your fifth wheel. On some trailers with the half bath there is also a separate sewer connection for draining that tank. Your's may, or may not, be like that, get under the trailer and look. Also I would think that there would be at tank monitor for that holding tank somewhere but I'm not sure. I'm really not all that familiar with the newer Wildcats.

Who sold you the unit?

Dear Muzbomb,
What dealer sold you this unit without any type of walk through?
