Need to replace hydraulic hose in bedroom slide out

Is it safe to replace our hydraulic hose which says psi 2200 on it, in the bedroom slide out on our forest river wildcat. We have completely extended the slide out and then retracted it, so i think it is no longer under pressure. If it was, then i think the fluid would be pouring out on it.....?
Does anyone know or has done this before? Thanks

Should me no problem, except for some leakage. The hoses are under the high pressure when energized. Once the ram movement stops they are I believe. I added a cutoff valve to turn on or off the bedroom slide separate from the other slide and when I disconnected the hose, just a little fluid leaked out.

Thank you JJnLilly. We did get it replaced...the hardest part was finding a company to do the hoses for us, because we only had 2 days to get this done as we are leaving for Ohio on Wednesday! They work great now!
