New 344QB problems

We just had our first camping trip in our new 2013 344. We had a few problems. The most major is the black water stop valve came out as did all of the black water when I went to dump the tank. A black disc came out with a small hole int the center of it (for screw I suppose). I got covered with black water, not happy. Also the upstairs vents dont blow anything with the furnace on, and the bunkhouse was freezing as the AC unit fan turns on when you turn on the furnace with no ability to turn it off. A big camping trip coming up and need at least a quick fix for the black water problem. Need help fast!

The black disk that came out with the black water is the cut-out when they plumbed the tank. They should have removed it but obviously didn't.

The upstairs heats vents are probably the longest duct run from the furnace and therefore, have the least amount of flow. It's good to check where you can to ensure that the flexible duct isn't kinked, disconnected...should be able to see it in the basement. Some people have added register covers that can be partially closed to force more flow to another outlet.

If the AC fan is running when the furnace is on, you must have the fan selector set to 'on' instead of 'auto'.

Thank you so much for the reply. I will check all in the AM. As for the fan, the thermostat is digital. How would I set the fan?

cycle through to fan, and then use the down buttons to change the setting to auto. Then switch back to heat and set your temp.

The rear blackwater tank won't close but the front one is closed. Broken cable or valve?

Don't mean to sound like a dumb question, but is there another dump valve somewhere?

You should have a separate pull valve for each tank...

Sorry to hear about your black water issue. I had some valve issues too. May I suggest the Valterra T58 twist on valve? It twists on your drain and provides an extra back up valve to help prevent spills when hooking up/dumping. It could also help until you can get it in for repairs.
