New Sofa Sleeper Installed

I finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase a Thomas Payne Tri Fold Sofa for our Wildcat. That blow up mattress just had to go. I ordered through Camper World and had them take out the old sofa and install the new one today. Love the looks of it and it's a lot better than having to blow up a mattress.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

I had a FR262RGX with the tri fold sofa and it had to be the one of the most miserable things I ever tried to sit on, must less sleep on. I traded it in on MH and spoke with the person, later, who bight the 5th wheel. First thing he did was get rid of the sofa and out something more comfortable in it. For some reason, Forest River does not put a comfortable try fold sofa / sleeper in the units, or maybe its just me???

We were the ones that bought your rig, and yes we couldn't get that sofa out fast enough. Went to a local furniture store and replaced the miserable sofa with a reclining Lazyboy love seat and matching chair. Soooo much more comfortable. in fact so nice we bought basically the same furniture for our home.

Forgot to mention but there is some storage area under the mattress section. I think it was about 8 inches deep and ran the width of the sofa.

Any sense of the comfort level for adult visitors?

I'm thinking we may need to replace the sleeper in our Windjammer. The (air mattress) in ours herniated dramatically this past summer and we're faced with figuring out what to do for a replacement. I agree the pictures of this tri-fold look like something our young grandkids would like (considering we make them sleep on the floor presently). However, our sleeper is generally used by adults (our adult kids and their spouses). Has anyone weighing over 150 ever slept on a tri-fold like the one the OP installed?
