Pull the unit
FYI. My Genesis 2 has been very good to me. Hope that does't jinx me. Anyway pull off the front bezel, be careful as it just snaps into place and the tabs can break. I think it is held in place with six screws. See where the RCA cables go. I believe I used an optical audio cable as that input was available. I have no problem pumping my TV through the unit. You might have to also select either "fixed" or "variable" audio out on the TV. I have to turn my TV sound down all the way to use the Genesis as the volumes are out of sync. NOT MUTE, just volume to Zero. Takes some playing with. I think my audio out was connected to "AUX 2" I think I connected my optical to "AUX1". It has been a while
Good luck
