RE:Exahust fan

Can you get switches on/off for the stove hood separate. One for lights and one for fan? Or do you need to buy the whole hood? Wildcat F29 2010. Just bought two new deep cycle, the old ones were close to 10 years old. In case I need to replace my trickle charger, were the hell is it..?...lol

you should be able to buy the switches separate. I have never heard of a unit with a trickle charger the tis a function of your converter which is normally located close to or part of your distribution panel (where the fuses are)

Thanks re converter

Thanks !! Okay that makes a lot of sense. In my Wildcat that is a night-stand type mini-coffee table on the floor at the rear of the 5th wheel right at the land-line, out side it's where my power-hookup is. I was afraid that using my batteries to the bitter-end, after at least 5 years close to 10 I might of worn out the converter. There was a ton of cycling just before bed-time at night with the old batteries so I had buy two new ones. When it cycled the lights were jsut about out and just brown lighting. I hope I didn't screw up the converter by using those old batteries for so long. I wonder how long the converters are good for, close to 3 years living in it, someone told me I need to check the battery water levels every 5 to 6 weeks, which I never did before, at all. My poor little over-worked converter...lol
