The upper cabinets next to the freezer get very hot.
Is there a way to vent the refrigerator?
Can you insulate these?
Of course, my concern is fire.
Thanks for your help.
There should be a long (about 30 inches) vent cap on top of (or directly behind and above) your fridge area. This vent MUST be unobstructed in order to properly vent heat used to run the fridge. CAREFULLY Remove the cover and check for obstructions. A Bee nest or build up of leaves could prevent heat from escaping the burner/element chamber. You did not say how well your fridge works. A blocked vent would not allow very good cooling and also would be a fire hazard if not repaired.
