repair a hole in back of fifth wheel

well stopped at store to get some groceries and came out and somebody had backed into our wildcat on the rear and put about a golf ball sized whole in the backside. Had some nice pink duct tape so that worked to keep the water out, now looking for information on repairing it. It appears to be luan wood backer with a fiberglass overlay on it. Is it just a fiberglass repair, or does the wildcat have a gel coat exterior? Any thoughts?

I would look at West Marine. You can make the repair like new with a product called Marine Tex. I just repaired a whole in mine when I hit the corner of a concrete table. It works great I have used it on boats for 25 years and it comes either white or gray to match your gel coat. It will be stronger then the rest of your unit.

thanks, did you put something in the whole or just the marine tex?
