Replacement Kingpin Pinbox

I have a 2012 Wildcat 312 BHX and love the camper, but we are getting knocked around hauling it. Truck is a Chevy 2500 Duramax and I am well within capacity of the truck.

I am thinking of replacing the pin box with one that absorbs the shock and jostle of the trailer. Anyone done this and if so, which brand/model did you go with?

I think it will be something I will have the dealer install, but I do not know which replacement pin box to consider.

Thanks

I installed the 5th AB and what a difference it made. There are others out there but I can only talk about the 5thAB. It stopped 95% of the "chucking" and for the most part has been trouble free.

As for installation if you are anywhere handy, have a couple friends, a torque wrench, and some good luck, installation can be a diy project.

Do you have a slider? If so, that could cause some of the problems. We didn't like the banging with the slider and had it replaced with a non-slider and activated the Reese Revolution Sidewinder.

My dealer is going to install the trail air for $85. Well worth the $ to know it was done correctly.

I have a 3555bhq and pull it with a short bed f250 with a sliding hitch. I am looking into getting the Trailair triglide and am worried about clearance issues when turning and with the sliding hitch in the rear position. Can anyone give me some advice?
