Ripped furniture

We have a 2016 29rlx we bought new in 2017. We got the 2 year Forest River extended warranty when we bought it. At the beginning of this year we started noticing a the seam on our back couch coushions separating and within in a trip or too they were totally ripped along the seam.

I contacted Forest River, still waiting to hear back. Anyone else have issues with the seams on thier couches?

The first picture is of the seames failed on both cushions at the same place. The second photo is a close up of in if the failures on the dark thread seam. The third is a picture of an area that has not failed yet showing the dark seam next to the accent white seam.

Our Wildcat recliner top-back began cracking after only 12-18 months. We paid to have a new one shipped to us to replace. Now the 2nd recliner is doing the same. Also, the seams around the recliner arms is cracking. We had a rep look at it at the Frog Rally and haven't heard back from any one.

Forest River sent us some new cushions under the 2 Year Warranty! It took awhile, but they got it done. The cushions are not an exact match to the rest of the couch, but close enough, we are going to keep them covered from now on hoping they won't rip again.

Ours did the same thing. Dealer ordered new cover and had it installed. The new cover was slightly off but acceptable to DW.

When I was full time the cloth cover on my couch started doing the same thing right at a seam. I took the cover off and my wife had it repaired in Taiwan.................for a dollar.

That sucks for both. We kept contacting FR every week with an email until they finally replied. They supposedly could not find our warranty information because they looked up the wrong VIN?

We had our 2018 Wildcat 32wb 2 days and we noticed one arm on one recliner was broke off(screw was broke) and checked 2 ND one was starting to rip on seam called dealer they contacted FR and it took 2 months to make new ones but dealer delivered them and put in RV and took broken ones. No questions asked. The dealer said they never thought to check arms so from now they will. They said someone probably sit on the arm without thinking. The only thing so far we have against our dealer is the walk Thur was only minor things not where and how to find Furnace water heater( how to turn On) wiring nothing.were learning as we go. We don't even know if there's secret compartments under the basement. We're clueless.

We have the same issue. We noticed ours in November and went thru our dealer with no luck at first. Tried FR and there customer service is awful. They responded to my emails once and never returned a call. I tried the dealer again and they finally were able to get me a cover for $190. We purchase our in 2017 and we have a 2016 29 RKP 5th wheel

Wanted to update everyone. I contacted FR and they said that it is an LCI product and should contact them as it was out of warranty. I email LCI warrainty dept with photos and ser# of TH. 3 days later on a Thursday, I received an email that they were out of warranty but for customer satisfaction, they would replace. The following Monday I received 2 new recliners. I must say I got very good communication and service from both companies.
