Nope...that is not the case!

Even the axle shop I've used for years in Denver won't do them anymore.

I had them do my wheel bearings and bought new tires from them before I left Denver last March and asked them to do an alignment and they told me that they no longer do them as the new RV's today don't hold the alignment for long and they got tired of having to do redos...over and over and over.

I asked them who does it in the Denver area...they said nobody does anymore.

And after I called around trying to find someone to do it...I came out empty handed.

Apparently it is more of a liability issue for them...

On conventional leaf spring trailer suspension there really is no adjustment aside from relocating the spring hangers front to back

I would have trouble believing any shop could charge for axle alignment otherwise

Maybe the shops have “wised up” or the consumer has

I doubt the consumer has "wised up" about this issue...

And us second guessing the reasons why really does none of us any good.

That being said, we will probably see this spreading around the country before long...if it hasn't already!
