unnamed switches

We didn't hear what these two switches are for in our 5th wheel when we did the walk through. Our salesman yesterday "guessed" maybe they go to outside lights. He says since they are red they would pull from the battery. Got home and nope not outside lights, they are clearly marked. Maybe to the pump???
Two red switches upper right.

Pictures help everyone best.

What make and model of 5th wheel do you have?

They are or are not clearly labeled?

Two switches upper right where?

Looks like the tank heater switches in our 16 262RGX. We have the same model, but our switches are in the kitchen near the sink. Always thought that was on odd place to put them, but they look exactly like yours.

Is one of them to the outlet by your steps? So you can turn off awning strings lights on and off without unplugging them.

Like I said, they are identical to our tank heater switches and we have the same model. Odd that they don't mark them. But the guy that did our walk through told us what they are. Here is a pic of them along the back wall behind the sink next to the window.....

As a former owner of a sixtysixSatellite, I'm going with the GTX man... although my heaters have a single switch.

I,m betting it's the same and unmarked, too. Just can't imagine why the factory would do that.

yes, it's amazing how much they spend on a 'pretty' bank of labels and switches, along with the FR name badge, and yet mount two other 'switches' nearby with absolutely no indication of what they are for! some engineers must have never purchased a new RV before, I know for a fact they've never camped!

These two red switches turn on the tank heaters. Each of your tanks has a 12 volt pad attached to the underside to make sure they don't freeze in colder weather. The nice thing about these tank heaters is they are thermostatically controlled. When the red switches are activated, the tank heaters will monitor the outside temperature and only start heating when the temp drops below 40 degrees fahrenheit.

All my switches are well labeled- NOT! But we deciphered them and memorized them.
