It may help if you post the year, model or even better a photo.

Is the valance simple a strip or board above the close doors?

Most of the trim including the faux looking stone of the fireplace is attached via an excess of finish brads/nails. And can be pried way with the use of a pry bar or screw driver.

I have a 2015 Wildcat and I learned that all models of Wildcats are not alike. Can you give us a model number, also, as in 337FB, 293REX?

Valance

Sorry. In all my internet searches, I found no Wildcat 29RLXs.
If you're talking about this valance,

I wouldn't remove it. It covers a multitude of sins!

To answer your original question, it appears that if you remove the covers on the buttons, it will reveal the attaching screws, etc.

Now that we've established similarity to a known valance, I agree with OldCoot's suggestion although I haven't tried it myself.

Regarding posting pictures: I took my 2 pics with my iPhone and used the Tapatalk general forum app to post them to your thread. However, you might read through the following thread (post #7 specifically) to get forum updating tips.

One method is to do a Reply and scroll down to and click on Manage Attachments and follow instructions to post pics from your computer.
