What are you using to protect your front cap?

Our '16 262RGX is one of those dark gray front caps that are prone to fading badly. Fortunately, ours still looks decent but the very top has faded as well as the top corner that gets most of the sun.

I thought about Poly Glow but have read some horror stories about potential peeling later on and you have a huge mess. Would love to get this thing painted, but nobody in this area is set up to paint RV's and one shop 70 miles away, won't do it unless they can take the cap off = big $$$. Forget that!

Another thing. How in the world do you polish or wax the upper part of the cap? It has such a radical rearward curve, it is impossible to reach that far back to apply any polish/wax. Being short doesn't help either.
