Gotta LOVE South LA. We do at least a 4 day weekend once every 4 weks because I work 14/14. Year round camping!

Sometimes we burn a fire, sometimes we use the furnace, sometimes we run the A/C, but we are always there!

HI glad to hear from you hope and yours are doing fine. I'm doing OK since retiring in October just need to get myself used to it waiting for my wife to Retire. I keep starting new projects and trying to keep myself busy. I can hardly wait for traveling around this country.

I think around 80000. Still in great shape and will last for me till I'm done. It gets the royal treatment garaged all the time she sets and cleaned once a month. Oils changed at their recommended cycles and treated with care. Even my DW get's jealous

Had a 1977 F150 for 22 years and sold it at 164,000 miles and never did anything to that truck except change oil and plugs etc. the most was a water pump. It was a gutless 400 cubic inch 140 hp. I used it to pull my four winds fifth wheel I had and it averaged 14 mpg. loaded or not. of course the fiver only weighed 4000 lbs. My current dually pulls my 10000lb Wildcat and gets around 12.5 to 13.5 mpg. Which I can live with it may not go as fast as everybody else but it gets me there. But I do own it......

I was. Apparently it just shut down and faded away. Too bad but I really didn't see much activity.

I use to be over there too. Slowly the posts got older and older and no updates or new ones so I stopped visiting. Did get the pleasure of meeting Scruffy 4 or 5 years ago @ Fort Wilderness. Nice folks.

And TC and Sean I often wonder how they are all doing. I have been on several forums that have gone away I think they all do that eventually people loose interest due to the same old same old that is why this forum will be around for along time it is very entertaining and informative lots of good info and people here.

We vacation for a week during the summer in Bullhead. We stay at cheap casino hotels in Laughlin and tow the boat out there. It's still wild and crazy. The jet skiers are more dangerous than the boaters. We've come close to collisions because of some irresponsible behavior, usually around others drinking and then boating.

We've learned the trick is to head north from the launch at Katherine's Landing and find a nice quiet cove for the day.

Go early in June and you beat the severe heat. Go too late and the temps hit 110+. August brings monsoon season and the weather can get nasty and dangerous fast.

When I was there Many Many years ago it was before Jet Skis were real popular,,, I learned then that Jet Boats and Tequila don't mix well !!!

EastlakeRoo, you have one of those time shares like I have...take out one weekend (your share) then the stealership gets if for the next 2-3 months (while you continue to pay your share and theirs)...

I'm kind of feeling like Oakman....about to give up on any RV lifestyle...can stay in a lot of hotel rooms for these prices and when the stealership is having there time with our RV, that is where we have to stay anyway....

We will have our wildcat at Florida Caverns State Park for spring break next weekend. Has anyone been there yet? Would like to hear about it. It looks nice. Have a great week. Hope to see some wildcats out and about.
