We just bought a wildcat in February, been out once, waiting g on repairs. Takes a month to get in a repair shop and a month to get back. Hopefully they are easy fixes. Slide issue, may get fixed by mobile tech, and floor has a soft spot in bathroom. Only been out once.

Pulled ours out of it's cover from winter hibernation yesterday to get ready for a trip next week. The weather made a big change from sunny in the 70's yesterday to low 40's with 30 degree wind chill when I took this pic a few minutes ago. Brrrr...

Took mine to a local truck maintenance shop and had new pads put on the disk brakes plus greased the bearings.

Buck Creek RV Park in the foothills above Marion, NC. Arrived yesterday and spending 7 nights. There is a creek just behind us and we have windows open and are listening. Large open meadow in front of us that has an RC flying field. Hope to see lots of aircraft flying this weekend, including mine. Click image for larger version

Full hookups and good WiFi. No cable TV on this site and I am very okay with that. Having spent a small fortune with the dermatologist I am happy with the shade.

Looks like my kind of site with all that shade. My mom has had several bouts of skin cancer and my dad has had several precancerous growths removed from his skin. I avoid the sun at all costs because I don't want to have to deal with that, and who wants to be hot anyway. I would rather be on that cool side and enjoy the campfire. You can always put more clothes on but you can only take so many off!

I did not get inside, but the owner explained the strange floor plan. Bunk beds up front with a half bath. Full bedroom and full bath in the rear. Never seen such a floor plan. The owner got it from a relative (cheap) and put lots of time and money into it, including a new roof. It looked good from the outside.

Here we are, leaving the Lakeview RV Resort in Houston after a weekend of Astros baseball and visiting with friends.

Had a good weekend, we took the series 2 games to 1 against the Blue Jays and visiting with friends is always good!

We leave the house in about 2 hours. Wife has dental appointment. We’ll get back home on October 20, 125 days of RV fun including 2 FROG rallies. Will try to post pics of each campsite.

Now at the KOA in Fancy Gap, VA. We like this place. It is clean, has spacious sites and in a very pretty area along side the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will be here for 5 nights. We did have lots of rain last evening. It is nice and cool as the high today is forecast to be 73.Click image for larger version
