Wildcat 27rls or cougar 28rls travel trailer?

My husband and I have narrowed our search to the two travel trailers above. When you read the reviews we are troubled by what we see out there. Can anyone share your experiences to help us?

I have an 09 Wildcat 27rls fifth wheel.

Only problem I've ever had with it was a piece of trip popped off on a bumpy road. A little glue and a couple of wood staples fixed the problem.

It has been one of the most problem free campers I've ever owned.

I was a fan of Thor products once but I think FR's build quality and especially customer warranty service is better than Thor's.

When you visit ANY forum you will find that 90% of the posts initiated are from folks having problems. Just the way it is as most of the posts on any forum are generated by those folks seeking help or others who are dissatisfied with the product they purchased/own! Those happy/pleased with what they own typically remain members of the silent majority.

X2

Pick the one you like most or if they both appeal to you equally.....then get the one you can make the best deal on.

Also, look at storage and water capacities.

I bought a Cougar 303RLS when we went to buy a Rockwood. Auto-level (Ground Control 3.0) came with it for very little more. Had a problem with the furnace but Atwood sent a mobile tech to the CG and a couple small things I took care of. Very happy with it. A 2016 used about 145 nights and 5000 miles. Would have been happy with the Rockwood but push a button and leveled with no boards or anything.
