Wildcat Camper Forum ???
Anyone know if the Wildcat Camper Forum has closed its doors? When I try to go to the site I get a message that says the domain has expired and is pending renewal or deletion. I sent an email to the administrator but haven’t heard back yet.

When I try it sends me to a different address say it has expired and is waiting for renewal or deletion? but it gives a different address that takes me there. I didn't try it because I thought it was a virus or something ?

Why are we asking about a closed forum?
Most likely they all found out about FRF and moved here!

The beauty part of that forum was any questions you had about a Wildcat would be answered by another current or previous owner of a Wildcat. You didn’t have to deal with the know-it-all owners of other FR brands who think every Forest River product is built exactly the same as any other and they could answer any question.
Unfortunately there hadn’t been a lot of activity on that Wildcat Forum in recent months and without support I could see it was doing a slow death. That forum did have a small amount of advertising but for the most part was supported financially by its members.
While the FRF is my favorite forum I do get very frustrated by the many ads that actually slow the forum down.
MOOT POINT now. That forum is back and running.

Yes, I can see that.
But just think how limited your experience would be if only folks with your model camper answered your questions?

Yes, it is back. Apparently Phillip forgot to pay the bill for the domain name. All is right with my world again.

Wildcat Forum Gone??
Are any of you Wildcat owners a member of the WildcatCamperForum? If so has it closed shop? It doesn't seem to be around anymore.

I was on it about a week ago, but now the site seems to be having problems:
I know it had become less active, but I didn't hear anything about it closing or moving. Hopefully it's just a glitch on their site.

I wonder if that inactivity is the reason it's not around. It's hard to justify the cost of operating a forum if no one participates actively.

Iwas on the site last week. Have not seen any post when the site was up that there was any problem. Have not seen Philip on the board for quite a while. Hopefully some of the more active posters will get something figured out.

Went to post something, and it wasn't there ! Been a member for years; kind'a like losing an old friend ! Hoping the interruption is temporary.
Wishing now I had oldelmer1's or scruffy and tater's e-mails. They'd probably know what was going on.

I'd noticed Phil hadn't checked in for several months. Hopefully, everything's ok !

It’s definitely gone for good. Since it was privately funded it probably became too expensive to justify the cost. The last couple of years, activity on the forum had really dropped off. I guess donations to keep it running dropped off too.
No offense to FRF, but in its heyday the WildcatOwnersForum was best source of information for owners of the Wildcat brand. I was a very active member (different screen name) for years until I bought my current Silverback.

Can you supply a link to the other forum? I am a new Wildcat owner and any information I can get would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Links to competing forums are not permitted by our terms of use. I do believe there is enough information here to give you what is needed, or someone can PM you if you can't find it.
