Finally got the new camper hooked up to my truck and the camper sits noe high. I took the hitch pin cover off and seen there were different holes to move the hitch pin up and down, guess my question is there any reason why I can not adjust this height? And if there is nothing wrong with doing it what would the bolts need to be torqued too?

If you have adequate clearance over the truck's bed rails (6" minimum) you can either raise the pin box or lower the hitch or both. How far out of level is it?

Adjusted the king pin hitch up one hole and now i have to modify the cover but that shouldn't be to hard. It left 9 inch between bottom of the trailer and the top of the truck bed. And now the trailer is only 2 1/2 inches nose high. Tbink this is as good as it will get.

I have a super glide hitch that has no height adjustment.

Seeing that you have lots of clearance between the truck and camper and that the Super Glide has no height adjustment, could you raise the pinbox one more set of holes? I think the hole spacing is 1" and that would be all you need.

Dave, this has nothing to do with this thread, but I noticed that you have an F250 with V10 Gas. I was wondering what your MPG is pulling your fifth wheel and what the weight of it is. I have a 2005 F250 with 6.0L diesel with 5 spd auto and it seems that my MPG goes down proportionally to the increase in diesel price. I pull a WC 31TS at about 11,000 lbs and was getting around 12 MPG here in GA. and now over the same trip, I'm lucky to get 10. Thanks for the info.
