Thumbs up Wildcat Factory Tours

Just gave another factory tour today (thanks, Earl!) and wanted to be sure forum members knew they're able to come for a visit. It really is the best way to see how Wildcat wins against the competition.

If you're interested, call the factory to make arrangements (574-389-3232) or send me a private message and I'll help set it up!

Do you include airfare and accommodations?

Hmmm. I'll have to run that by corporate. How many Wildcats are you going to buy again?

Horseshoes.

Hand grenades.

All expenses paid factory tours? Not so much...

Seriously, though, if you're ever in the area you're welcome to tour!

Just completed the last of 3 tours yesterday. With no one else on the schedule and our Christmas break fast approaching, I think they may have been the last tours of 2011! If you're going to be in northern Indiana in 2012 and want to come see Wildcats being built, please call the factory in advance to make arrangements (574-389-3232) or send me a private message so I can get it set up for you!

Stu,
We do offer plant tours any time! What we ask is a days notice to make sure someone can be around to give the tour. Because we are a manufacturing facility, we do not have someone staffed specifically to give tours. If you can call the factory at 503-831-1200 and let them know what day you wish to view a Wildcat being constructed, chances are I may be in town and will be able to come down and give the tour myself.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
Thanks
Steve

Well, Stu, there you go!

And, for the record, Wildcat Steve is another Wildcat representative who's been following along here and on other forums for some time now. We recently spoke about the forum here and I asked him to check in every once and a while since the Oregon facility builds somewhat differently than the Elkhart plant. And he's the expert with regards to Wildcats on the other side of the rockies... I'm sure he'll be a valuable asset to the forum members here!

Great Wildcat Steve. We will be down that way when the weather bones up in the spring. We just purchased a Sterling 32RK and are looking foward to pulling and camping. Merry Christmas

We will be coordinating this early next year, but I'm hoping we'll be able to accommodate any interested parties (as we do throughout the year). Wildcat is very excited to assist the newly formed FROG!

Had an excellent Wildcat tour today by Pete the Floor manager. Was very impressed with the quality of product being built and the enthusiasm and professional attitude of the people. Outstanding product and people make an outstanding Wildcat Fifth wheel. Kris also followed up the tour with excellent suggestions and answered all our questions. Can't wait to order our 30RL.

Thanks for coming out and taking the tour. We're happy to accommodate! I also appreciate that you had a list of questions ready -- made my job easy!

Talking Call 574-389-3232 to schedule a tour!

I've had some recent private messages asking about plant tours, so I thought I'd post this!

We had the best time Friday touring the Wildcat facility!! Pete Jansen was our tour guide and he was absolutely AWESOME at explaining the techniques used in the manufacture of Wildcat trailers!! He was patient when we asked questions and provided ample time and answers. My husband was not completely on board when I chose the Sterling 32RK as our next camper, but after the tour he is looking as forward to getting it as I am!! THANKS PETE....you were very instrumental in getting him there!! Our unit is order #965 and should be completed this week......I am more thrilled than ever to be planning our 1st camping trip in our Sterling 32RK.
