Just picked up our first camper yesterday. So far my only complaint is the outdoor speakers. Anyone ever upgrade them?Click image for larger version

Welcome to the forum from Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Congrats on your new rig.
I have to ask...What are you towing that 35', 7K trailer with? (hard to tell from the picture.)

Wow, be careful out there. That is a lot of trailer for an SUV.

I just picked up my 2018 Forest River Salem Hyperlyte Hemishere 26BHKHL yesterday. Very similar to the Heritage Glen model. Haven’t taken an outing yet with it yet. Pulling it with a 2017 Ford Super Crew FX4 with 3.5 liter twin turbo V6, Pro trailer backup assist, 10 speed automatic with tow capacity of 10,800 lbs. I’m new to this forum. Was advised to get the Equilizer weight distribution hitch with built in sway control which I had installed. Anyway, I hope that this trailer is a good one with few problems.

Hey guys. We are looking at the Heritage Glenn or the Salem Hemisphere. (26BHKHL) When I look on-line at dealers across the country I see several different appointments on the camper. One difference is above the master bed. I see anything from nothing in the middle between the wardrobes to a shelf between them to full cabinets between the wardrobe cabinets. In the kitchen I see a back splash on some and no back splash on others, Also a big difference between the shades. Are these differences an option and I don't see it on the FR website?
What year and model do you have? Can you post a few pics of them. Do you like it? Any hidden drawbacks?

Thanks so much for any info.

Forest River Salem Hyperlyte Hemisphere

I also noticed how the bedroom cabinets were different in some of the 26BHKHL’s. I think it really depends on the year when they were built and there may be some variations between the different sub brands of the 26BHKHL’s like the Wildwood and Heritage Glenn

Mine, the Salem Hyperlyte Hemisphere, which is an earlier 2018 model has the bridge cabinet across between the two side cabinets that are overhead. And the LED lights are at the bottom of the cabinet. I prefer that it gives more storage, and I think it looks nicer although some people might think it looks cleaner without it. During the 2018 model year I believe they made a change and stopped putting the overhead bridge cabinets in that model. I personally like the look and the extra storage, so I’m glad mine has it. In addition they changed from the earlier 2018 and before models and they took out the pleated pull up shades and the side curtain treatments with hardware, and started putting in roller shades. I’m sure some people love that for the cleaner look, but I prefer the homey and softer look of the pleated shades and trim curtains since I still think they have a modern look as well. I hope that explains to you or makes it clear why you see differences. In addition, I do not know if the dealers can order a model with the overhead bridge cabinets, and specify it in their order. I noticed on my trailer invoice that the dealer chose to have a larger 40 inch TV installed from the factory in place of the standard 32 inch TV in the living room area. They also ordered it with the higher rated insulation in the floors and ceiling. So I’m thankful that they ordered that. I also believe they can order it with stainless steel appliances which looks really nice but I don’t care but mine isn’t like that. Probably for more information you should call Forest River customer service and ask them to answer your specific questions.

Thank you so much Stratoguy. That's a lot of info. We like the full cabinets across the top in the bedroom. Also the full window treatment too. Great info about the better R value avaiable.
Thanks again.

I did a plant tour last spring to watch my heritage glen roll off the assembly line. They are both made in the same plant on the same line. Only difference is the decals.
