2017 Heritage Glen 24BH REAR BUMPER - weight rating

We just purchased a 2017 Heritage Glen 24BH travel trailer and are living it so far.

My trailer has a spare tire and grill mounted on the rear bumper. I have tried finding the rear bumper weight restrictions/ratings online but can't find this information anywhere.

I'd like to install one of the bolt on hitch mounts so that I can put a 2 or 3 bike rack on the bumper when we travel but I want to make sure I don't tear the bumper off.

Does anyone know where I could find this information, or has anyone else successfully mounted a bike rack on your Heritage Glen Hyper Lyte trailer?

Thanks,

Matt

I can't tell you the rating but FR says adding any non-factory installed equipment will void the chassis warranty. I assume you are still under warranty.

Yes, there is a sticker on my bumper that says just that. Just researching so that in a year when my warranty is up I can come to a solution. 😀

The frame has its own warranty that is longer than one year.
Usually 5-6 years long.

There are also some "lessons learned" videos on YouTube showing bike racks that have pulled bumpers off. If indicated, there are reinforcement brackets that might help improve load carrying capacity (available on Amazon ). 4SQUARE SafetyStruts Prevent RV Bumper Failure (TM) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JASCNEE..._i2yJxb8SF34KR
