2017 wildwood 28Dbud problems

I knew when I bought our rv that the construction was going to be made of 2x2's and other light material, but didn't expect it to be build so badly. This is our first summer with the new rv and I have already had to reinforce the big drawer under the couch, install drawer latches to all the drawers to prevent them from opening during transport and reinforce the barrel storage shelves. We love our rv and the floorplan but I wish that they would at least put them together a little better for the money that is spent on them. I do also understand that they are all build in a assembly line fashion so they are built in about six hours. just ranting I guess, happy camping

My wife and I have a 2015 DBUD and we experienced many of the same issues you are having now. Our dealership, under warranty, added some more latches to the drawer under the couch and the cabinets above the sink as they kept on opening when we were underway. So far our barrel storage and cabinet drawers have been ok. I also had to add a few more hinges to the bed. The stock ones were itty bitty with maybe 1/4 inch screws at best. Needless to say, there was saggage in the middle. Once you get the kins work out, shes a great camper!
