2018 Wildwood 241QBXL

I have a 2018 Wildood 241QBXL. When you winterize do you leave the battery connected? How long will a battery stay charged not connected to electric power? Will I be able to run those small mice plugins all winter? Also if you have any more helpful info on keeping mice out or any good info on the 241QBXL.

Disconnect the battery. Otherwise it's likely to discharge back through the converter. Mine does. The battery will maintain it's charge at least through the winter.
If you want to use electric mouse deterrents, you will have to have a power source. Are you planning to leave it plugged into the house all winter? I put down some boxes of DeCon poison in a couple of cabinets. Never had a mouse problem with that.

I store my unit at my house and have shore power available. I keep my batteries hooked up and the unit plugged in 24/7 when not in use.

With my previous unit, I left it plugged in at the house all the time. It cooked the batteries. But, my converter may not have had a battery maintainer/trickle charger setting either. That's why I started unhooking the batteries in storage.

It all depends on your charger/converter. A 3 or 4 stage charger should be fine on a battery.

I unhook my batteries to prevent them from discharging back through the converter if the unit isn't plugged in to the house.
