262bhxl leaking from leading edge?

Anyone with the Wildwood X-lite series (that curved leading edge) experiencing water in the front master bedroom? There's two horizontal seams in that curved front exterior, one at top in particular, that I think is leaking, when driving with wind pressure and it's raining. Checked the caulk/joints up top and along the front, that black seam sealer (what is that, anyway?) doesn't show any problems.

Never happens when camped or in the driveway with it raining or being hosed down. Only when I drive in the rain.

follow-up

Took the master bedroom apart yesterday to track down the leak:

I was assuming it was emanating from the front exterior seam (red arrows below)

And it was. This is on my back looking up. Looks like the seam is not sealed on the exterior from the factory. When driving, the wind pressure flexed the joint and the rain got in (I used a power washer to simulate the rain );

Now the question; should I use butyl rope/caulk or Dicor caulk on the exterior?
