Congrats, that is the model I wanted! Wife liked the 31bkis just a little more so we went with her first choice.

Discovered the first issue today.
After some heavy rain today, I found wet carpet under the couch in the slide.

I believe this was the issue, a bad caulking job.
Actually, all 3 slides looked this way.

I re-caulked all of them myself.

Hello MarkyB

We bought the same model this past March.

I will be checking the edges of my slides when I get it back out next weekend!

Have you had other issues? I've found several now.

For your bathroom - does the sink have the crossbars in the drain? They cut mine out when they installed the sink, so I have to totally remove the stopper or it won't drain.
I'm trying to get this into a service center to fix this and other issues.

No other build defects.
I think the rear stabilizer jacks are too far forward, there is too much bounce in the bunk room.
I have some BAL Lockarms to install to brace up the rear some.

I had a *small* issue that popped up this weekend. Someone informed me that it was "raining" underneath the trailer - upon inspection I found the pipe leading from the shower trap to the grey tank drain was pretty poorly fabricated (barely any purchase of pipe inserted). I repaired it today with some large vinyl hose and some clamps. Pain in the rear to repair through that little 5x8 inch hole underneath the shower!

I have this same model and year. This was also a problem with mine. I have re-caulked it just last weekend.

Other issues I have had so far:
* Fresh water drain tube plugged from the factory
* Sound from DVD player so low you couldn't watch a movie - I fixed it by taking it out and switching the connections so that it now runs through the TV.
*Slide seal was catching on the small screws on the slide and ripped - Had it replaced by warranty
* Antenna for TV picks up absolutely nothing - Had it in for warranty work and they said the new antenna is junk and is a problem on all models.....not sure I believe that.
* Slide seals were falling off back D/S slide - fixed myself
* Slide seals were not all properly mounted - Some side ones were over the top of the top one, easy fix but definitely glad I checked them.
*Hot water line close to the faucet on the outdoor kitchen pulled apart and broke at the 90 they used - Not sure why the 90 is there at all, replaced with a home toilet/sink extension, and eliminated the 90. I'm sure I'll be doing the same to the cold water line soon......
* Faucet knob blew completely off on the outdoor kitchen - I fixed it but you have to make sure you find all the small parts
* Cabinet door in the outdoor kitchen fell completely off - screws were stripped so I used some bigger ones.
* Outside fridge comes lose from the brackets they used with the glue - Have used JB Weld to put it back and it lasted a few months but is now lose again.
* Everyone of the plastic strips that hold the wires under the slide outs have broke - I just watch on the outside when putting slides in for the time being, but watch the back D/S slide as it pulled the ground off the frame at one point when the wires were not in the correct position.
* Water under the sink - I fixed it, the traps were not tight at all and I mean barely on.
* The main breaker in the camper keeps tripping this summer, even with just the air on - I am currently trying to fix it, I think first thing I am going to try is replacing, curious if anyone else is having this problem.

All in all it seems like I have had to do a ton of work to this new camper, not sure that is normal with other models, and quite frankly is unacceptable IMO. I love the camper just hope I am about done fixing this and that.

Dropped the trailer off at the dealer today. The main air conditioner froze up last weekend while we were at the beach. So I'm having them check it out. Service manager said they've had issues with a certain serial number range of 15K Dometic A/C units.

My other issues were, front stabilizer switch bad, hot and cold lines swapped in bathroom and wire got pinched on outdoor kitchen side. All was replaced under warranty. Also keep eye on tires. Had two of them get a bubble on sidewall. Got them both replaced but if you look at them, the load rating is only 2045 and this trailer dry is a hair over 8000. So if you load much at all in trailer your over loading it. I went ahead and traded tires in and got load range e tires

Yeah, trying to get the rest of this year out of the Castle Rock tires. Will definitely get some load range Es soon.
Weighed the trailer "3/4" loaded and had 8400 on the axles, so I think the Ds are ok for now.

I "had" the same model. Several little problems that were easily repaired, but when I discovered my tire wear issue was from the axle hangers not being welded on properly, causing the axles to not be in line with each other, we traded up to our current 5th wheel

Yea, with less than a 1000 miles I already had a tire with lot of wear on inside of tread. I'm wondering if this is my issue as well.

MarkyB - what is the support you added to your rear jack?
Does it make a big difference for bounce?
How difficult is it to install? (first install, setup at campground)

Thanks

BAL Lockarms.
Not too bad to install, you do have to drill into the frame for the upper mounts.
It helped but did not cure the bunk room bounce.
