50amp vs 30amp

If you have the choice of 30 or 50 amp does it matter which you choose?
Will a 50 amp make your fridge and ac cooler? I'm in San antonio Texas right now and it's HOT....cool air is coming out of the vents but it doesn't seem to be cooling the TT down much.....I didn't know if going to the 50amp would make a dofference?

Nope, either it runs or it doesn't and blows a fuse. maybe you need a 2nd AC and then you need 50 amps.

Well this is the first time we've had the problem but it was like 112 w the heat index today so I think it's just the enormous heat load and not being able to "catch up"

It depends on the A/C unit. Mechanical cooling can range from 20 degree to 40 degree difference for these units.

If your getting 25 degree effective change, that still puts you in the high 80's inside. It takes time to bring that down.
