8299BS overall height

i am new to the 5th wheel world and explored the dimensions i thought relevant at the time IE hitch height and clearance from bed rails to deck but i over looked a very important dimension that i need posted on my sun visor is the safe distance of a low overpass, tree limb , filling station covers etc that i can maneuver under. simple i know but with my disability i can't access the roof so this is why i ask this question. yes there are two A/C units. getting old is not for pansies for sure but it will not stop us from the world that we love.

This is the info that I found on the FR Site specific to your model. I have a 337BAR and it is 13'2" tall... Hope this helps you out. This info should be in your brochure that you got from the dealer? and if you didn't get one then shame on the dealer. Go by and pick one up, very useful info there.. Happy and safe travels.

judivan thank you for your reply and information. I had a friend climb up on the roof and we some how came up with the figure of 13'6". not good. this has bugged me for a while and i did source the height dimension and it was 12'9"as you said but thought that was the roof height not including the vent covers or A/Cs. well i went to Lowe's and bought me a laser measuring device and with much difficulty with a good ladder i made my way up to the top with a long straight edge and level , balancing act to make a circus clown laugh, got a true measurement and guess what 12'9" is the magic number to the highest point including A/C and or vent covers. so it looks as though i will be using 13' as my low clearence flag.

I have the sister, Flagstaff 8529IKBS.
I have vent covers on every vent and MaxxAir fans w/covers at the bath and kitchen.
The top of the bath cover is my tallest point.

I am at 13' right on the nose at the top of the bath cover.
I am 12'-9" to the top of my A/C and 12'-10" to the tops of both my front vent cover and the kitchen fan cover.

EDIT: This measurement is unhitched and leveled.
It would be slightly less hooked to the truck.

Glad that this information helped you out. I am working on finding an app for my phone that will give me height info along my route that we are traveling. they are out there and can get you detoured around a low overhang and back on the road, you can set this for a specific distance from the low object. if I find one I will post it under gadgets or electronics.
