Adirondacks

Having come from tent camping to buying a new TT we are not sure where some great spots are in the ADK's generally we want state campgrounds which are small we have a 25ft TT and are looking for spots that would accommodate that size and hopefully afford some privacy, we have tent camped in Wilmington and that is very small, any suggestions would be great and even better anyone who has sites they have camped at would be better!

Thanks

I love a state park called Higley Flow , Near South Colton New York or any of the ones near the St. Lawrence River, they are not in the Adirondacks but are close. Higley Flow is great in August, Black Berries and wild Blue Berries are out and you can pick all you like, but keep in mind there are bears there and these are food for them. Never actually seen one there but have seen the tracks and other marks.

To post pics click on the advanced post under where you type, then go further down and find manage attachments . this will bring up the menu to browse for the pic you want once you choose and it tells you that the pic is downloaded (ck the area where it says manage attachments to see when they are downloaded) you just hit submit reply and your done.

Use to ski in Vermont every year will be visiting there soon again when I retire. Will be looking for good campgrounds that I can get a 30 ft trailer in.
