Antenna Leak

We went Camping 5 days last week and developed a leak inside where you crank up the outside antenna. When we got home I checked the calking all around on top of Camper found nothing cracked. Any Help is Appreciated.

Its possible the leak is not at the antenna but elsewhere on the roof and running to it in the ceiling and running out at the crank.

Is that a Winegard antenna? If so, than one idea is to check the manual about lubricating the rubber quad ring.

Had that problem once on a previous camper. It was not the caulk around the antenna mount, but the wire and boot. I would also double check that.

I had the leak as well on our new camper this year. During assembly at FR, the antenna shaft was bent during install and the rubber gasket was missing. I called my dealer and they allowed me to repair in under warranty. Winegard sent the repair kit to me directly. Easy to do and no more leaks.

Just discovered a leak this summer after a rain storm while on my way to get work done on the front bunk. The dealer put all kinds of new caulking around antenna. It was still leaking when I came home, googled the winegard antenna and it is missing the wave washer, the flat washer and the rubber ring...my trailer has been problem after problem...not a happy camper!
