Any Wildwood 27rkss owners

I just purchased a 2015 27rkss and have one concern regarding main TV area. Does anyone know how deep is the small cabinet or the shelf. I am looking at my Directv receiver being too big to fit either inside the cabinet or setting on the shelf under the TV. I don't pick up the trailer until Tuesday, and its my one concern.

Thanks

Thanks for the info, i picked mine up last night. Don't know how to have the direct receiver fit but am looking at a few possibilities. Thinking about this over the weekend upset me sleep in more ways than I like to think about. I was like a kid in the candy store who couldn't decide what he wanted.

Questions...

Sorry to jump into your thread. I am looking at purchasing a 2016 Wildwood 27RKSS. Dealer is offering at $20,990. Is this good deal or is there more bargaining to do? This will be our first NEW travel trailer. Any issues that you have had or that we should look for. I would appreciate any of the good, bad, or ugly.

Thanks,
Danny

I paid $20,900. for my 2015 new and so far no problems. Owned it for 19 months. Prices are all over the place for RVs. 3 months after I bought mine I found 2 in AZ. one was 32k the other was 24K so 20k seams OK.

Agreed, prices seem questionable. I will say we liked the 2015 for 20k. But I wanted a few ad-ons like led lights, under mount sink, and recliners instead of arm chairs. When I contacted the factory to see how I could get one built like that, the response I got was "wait a couple of months because the assembly line is making them now". Meaning that stuff was the new factory changes. So, we called the dealer and said we wanted to see one. 3 weeks later, on a fri,it came in. We went the next day and paid 21k for it. Point being, 2016's appear to be more money because the factory put "better" stuff in them. Ultimately, if you like it, it doesn't matter what the final price is. Problems. ...not yet! Got it home 2 months ago, covered it up, and dream every night that we can go camping! (Stupid cold weather)!! We even went to a local rv show couple weeks ago just to see if we could find one we liked more....Nope!

I have a 312qbud and I am guessing that the cabinets are the same on our units. I installed my bell satellite receiver standing on its face straight up and down.

If you go to the 312qbud owners thread I did a write-up on how I made it work. Kind of hard to explain without pictures. The pictures I took are in that thread on page 2.

If you look in my signature it has the link to the thread just click on it and go to page 2.

Let me know if you have anymore questions and I will help you out!
