Anyone Camp in Northern Ohio??

Looking to see who are seasonAL campers in Northern Ohio and how they like their campground.

Currently stationary ourselves and looking to see what other campgrounds have and are offering...

Any info you can share would be appreciated. Thanks...

We are seasonal at Indian Creek in Geneva, Ohio.
After many years of weekending there, we went seasonal this year.
Nice sized, clean campground. The place has a large store, gas station, ice cream shop, mini golf, resturant, 2 pools, 2 fishing lakes, and a bar. There is plenty to do for the kids and adults.
If you like the wineries, a taxi will take you there for $5.00 each way. The taxi will also take you to the Geneva strip that has many shops, bars and places to eat along Lake Erie.
Love Indian Creek,

Indian Creek is a top rated campground in Geneva on the Lake, Ohio!

Thanks for the response. Yes Indian Creek is nice and we camped there many times before we were stationary.

Any idea what the lot fees are for full hookup seasonal?

I'm out in Kinnessee Lakes in Jefferson. Been there 4 years and maybe looking for a change.

The rate sheet is located in the provided link above. The full hookups are around $3000 - $3300 per season. I am in the very back of the campground with water and electric for around $2700. Other places in Geneva are cheaper but you get what you pay for. There is a waiting list though, not sure how long the list is to get a seasonal site.

We pulled our trailer off the site about a couple of weeks ago to stay at Indian Creek. We haven't been there in about 5 years so it was nice seeing some of the changes.

Very nice park and met some of the locals. Nice place and will look to visit every year.

Kinnessee Lakes is the only place I've camped up northern Ohio. We stayed there a week last year or the year before and liked it (even if I did get stuck in the mud and let my truck battery die).

Glad you enjoyed your stay at Indian Creek. They keep it up nice. I look forward to when they eventually pave the roads in the back where our lot is. You said you were looking for a change... Did you check to see if they had any lots available?

We are currently seasonal at Bay Shore in Andover, OH. Located on the banks of the Pymatuning lake. Rates start at $2,000. The season runs April 15 - October 15th. Amazingly clean campground, 2 Shower facilities, pool, hot tub, laundry. Full hook ups. family owned for 2-3 generations. lots of activities including theme weekends, bands etc. Gravel driveways with cement pads is a huge bonus.

Happy Camping!

Harrison lake is about as north as you can get in ohio, very nice and very well kept. Lake st. Mary's or Indian lake are both pretty nice, both have lake access with beaches, East Harbor is also very nice with lake access and other places to visit along lake erie. We mainly stick to the state parks there are several private campgrounds for season long camping but they fill up very quickly and are usually booked throughout the summer.

Yes Bay Shore is nice. We stayed there several times before getting a seasonal spot at Kineesee Lakes. Love the pool and like that there is access to lake. Spots were a little tight getting in an out of but overall a very nice park to say at. Would have loved to stay there but they don't allow Golf Carts and a few of the spots on the lake were out of our price range. Happy Camping.. Your at a great campground.
